China Communist Party And Kuomintang In Time Of Student Movements In KMT-ruled Area Of Shaanxi Around Year 1937

Around 1937, the movement to save the country from Japaneseaggression broke out in Shaanxi province, which is one of those important historicalevents of the Anti-Japanese War in the 20th century 30's. By studying this event,analyzing the mutual influence between social changes and young students thoroughlyunder the historical background of the Sino-Japanese War, the steps of how studentmovement changes are clear. It's through comparing and contrasting the difference inhow CCP and KMT perform and influence in the movements that we can find out thedifferent manners of political operations as well as the subtle and complex relationbetween Kuomintang and the Communist Party in a turning point of history, especiallythe middle and lower classes in two parties. So we can understand the true reason thatthe strength changed in two parties in the Anti-Japanese War period.This article consists of preface, main texts. The preface introduces the historicalbackground and gives the method to research student movement in KMT-ruled area ofShaanxi generally accepted by academics. This part concludes with the theory space thatthis article covered.The first part gives the time period and the social environment of the studentmovement in KMT-ruled of Shaanxi around 1937. Based on the true historical files, deepanalysis on the unique politics environment and the economical development in Shaanxiin the 20th century 30's have been made. And then, recalling these important studentmovements in the early 20th century. It point out the link from the former studentmovement to the student movement in question, which is an inheritance anddevelopment to the former ones. Meanwhile, by studying the education systemtransformation and the education idea conflicts after the outbreak of the War againstJapan, ideological and cultural environment of the student movement in KMT-ruled areaof Shaanxi has been showed. Much historical content in this aspect is also thebackground of other specific topics, so the elaboration is in detail here only once in orderto reduce and avoid duplication. The second part is primarily based on historical records. By referring to recollectionmaterials of many litigants in the student movement and the emergence and thedevelopment of students' organizations, as well as the anti-Japanese and nationalsalvation movement with the student for the main body, we tried to give you an objectiveand vivid description to student movement in this historical stage. Finally, it's easy to seethe derivation and development of students' movement.The major focus of this article is on the third part. First, it gives the reason that theCommittee of China Communist Party in Shaanxi paid high degree of attention to thestudent movement, it proves that the China Communist Party was building the cohesiveparty organization diligently among the students at that time, therefore CCP was able toshow the important influence in the student movement. Evidently CCP had gained thesupport and endorsement of the majority ofThe fourth part is also a key point. This part based on the true and typical materialshoping to elaborate the reason and the result of the entire historical event by collectingand identifying the information seriously. We tried to develop concretely the differentattitude of the Kuomintang authority to the student movement in The KMT-ruled area ofShaanxi in the different stages. That way, we can reflect accurately the diligent and thedefeat of the Kuomintang authority to strive for the supports of the students.The fifth part briefly go through the change to relationship between KMT and CCParound 1937 and the reason behind as well as the different way they treated students'movement. It tried to show the cause that KMT's failure and CCP's success in the timeof students' movement.The last part based on the contents of each part and summarized realisticenlightenment of this article. It pointed out we must insist on the leadership of CCP inthe new situation and build the cohesive party organization in the campus, as well asCCP valued the ideological education among the young student. CCP must guide themto inherit and carry the glorious tradition of the student movement in the democraticrevolution and lead the general youths to construct the Chinese characteristic socialismand realize the great revival of Chinese nation.
