The paper is on the basis of detailed reading, while considering the grandcontext that combined with religious criticism, the author think Emily Bronte'sprocession of religious ingredients is original and personalized, containing bothinheriting and deviation from the religious tradition at the same time. This paperincludes three parts, and analyzes the religion of Emily Bront's personalizedprocession from three respective angles, those are, heritage of the tradition, rebellionof the tradition and the reasons, the times speciality and creativity of this attempt havealso been discussed. Chapter 1 study the language, images, narration, theme andesthetics pursuits and then refines and analyzes these factors that subjected toreligious traditional influences. Chapter 2 exhumates and study novel background,characters, view of death and the abandon of doctrines. Chapter 3 analyzes thereasons why Emily's creation takes on such a feature. Emily's attitude and opinionabout religion is creative, she as a pioneer has exceeded time limits and embodiesreligious attitude of the twentieth century, draws the cultural spirit of Christianity anddistinguishes it from sect partition. The three contents of this paper are self-dependentand mutual related, together reflect the panorama of the subtle relation betweenEmily's novel and religion, and this angle well incarnates Emily's creativity andunique, and this effort can push forward the study of the Brontes. Emily's genius inliterature and the complication of her mind blend in her novel. Just because the unique,antinomy, complexity and ambiguity, the novel provides us with various of researchangles, and has endless art magic power and attraction.
