| Content: Since the Open and Reform, Chinese higher education has developed greatly, and the art and design eduction has also gained a large progress. However, some problems have appeared in the rapid development. While lots of problems appear, it is urged that art and design subject should estqablish a set of regulations to guide the development of the subject and to guarantee the right direction of the subject so as to suit the rapid growth of the country's economy and to povide safeguard for economic construction.This paper aims at finding out, analyzing and solving the problems of higher art education to give suggestions for the future development. In this research process, it refers to foreign advanced education system and national evaluation files on undergraduate eduction, and finds out an appropriate path for the development of art and design subject, which ponits to the special direction of art and design subject in the premise of insisting on the generality of undergraduate eduction. It sees the change of art position from the essence of art, finds out the position of art and design subject from the relationship of art and literature, enhances the development of the subject to the national lavel, suggests the government to gvie macro-control, and the colleges to give micro-control, and emphalzes the development of the subject in all respects. In the concrete development process of the subject, it refers to the national evaluation documents on undergraduate education, blends the professional contents into the general eduction systems; in the conformance to the basic discipline of undergraduate education, proposes reform programs on guidance concept, teachers construction, education conditions, majors construction, education reform, education management, leaning styles, teaching effects and so on, to establish the quality system of undegraduate eduction of art and design subject for the need of the devlopment in the new period. |
