Analyze The Creation And Sings Of Shang Deyi's Coloratura Art Songs

This article takes Shang Deyi's coloratura art songs as the object of study, from the aspects of the vocal music history, the ethnomusicology and the examined esthetics to carrying out the study through the multiple perspectives, analyzing the esthetic characteristics and the creation style of his coloratura art songs, and combining his concrete works with singing. On the basis of following the traditional Chinese esthetic psychology, some Western coloratura techniques and some traditional Chinese coloratura techniques existing in the folk songs are borrowed, and even the rich timbre pursued in the national vocal music and the coordinated unification of language and the exquisite Run cavity are unified to display his works so that China's coloratura art theory system is established by the time.This article mainly consists of three parts:The first chapter is about the composer's creation career. His early growth experience in Lanzhou accumulated a deep ethnic music foundation for his future creation while his specialized composing training in Beijing Normal University during his youth becomes the technique fountain-head of the creation for his coloratura art songs. In the process of teaching and practice, Mr. Shang, through the unceasing explorations, in the end has chosen the creation of the coloratura art songs , and his massive outstanding works not only have filled in the blank in the field of our coloratura creation, but also have played a promoting role in the development of our ethnic vocal music.The second chapter is about his creation for the works relating to coloratura art songs, which are mainly embodied from two aspects. Firstly, from the angle of composing theory, we analyze the melody, the rhythm, the sound, and the techniques of his works, and especially have a deep probe into the artistic of the coloratura parts in his works, and also excavate the individuality characteristics existing in his creation, namely, the realism path for creation and the bright national style and high artistic pursue. Secondly, form the high quality discovered in his entire works, we sum up the esthetics characteristics with the possession of the exquisite melody, sincere feelings, and appealing to both cultured and popular tastes.The third chapter is about the singing of his coloratura art songs ,which mainly accounts for two arguments, namely, under the premise of respecting the Chinese esthetic psychology, he, in technique, learns from Western coloratura techniques and from Chinese ethnic music. In the assurance of the national style, he emphasizes three aspects from the timbre, the language and the Run cavity. In the process of elaborating the part on the coloratura techniques in a flexible and scientific way, the article mainly begins with the sounds, the vibratos, the jumping sounds and fast scales, the four stringed instrument sound, and places an emphasis on the works with different styles, nimbly combining Western coloratura techniques with our traditional music coloratura techniques.The second chapter and the third one are the key chapters of the article.The article draws a major conclusion that Shang Deyi's creation practice has demonstrated a successful model for us. Only by taking root in the fertile soil of Chinese ethnic music and by deriving the outstanding achievements of the advanced culture all over the world can the true, good and beautiful artistic works be created. His coloratura art songs have the revelatory significance in the domain of our country's vocal music creation. Moreover, he devotes a lot to developing our ethnic vocal music. When singing Shang Deyi's coloratura art works, we must possess the skilled coloratura techniques, and must have the bright national style, therefore, we first should establish the beauty principles conforming to Chinese esthetic psychology customs, and take the compatible attitudes in technique, that is, learning from west Europe American sound schools and from the traditional music. Moreover, we should work hard on the ethnic languages and on the flavors.
