He experienced two epochs in his creative life and ultimately became the great master of traditional Chinese painting. His art ideology and landscape painting expresses profound spirit connotation. With deep understanding of national cultural tradition of Chinese art , Huang Binhong expressed his outstanding aesthetic features and lofty ideals by his landscape paintings. As a all-around scholar, Huang Binhong was a great master of painting, calligraphy and metal and stone characters, a master in the study of philology, painting history and theories , and a master in the appreciation, collection and publication of ancient books and poems, etc. Therefore , with comparatively less theoretical study of him, it is of realistic significance to study his great influence on Chinese landscape painting.The present paper , through discussion of Huang's art life , analysis of his art style and drawing ideology, presents a new viewpoint of his art stream, profound significance and influence on later Chinese artists.Firstly, in this paper, the great master's abundant life experiences as a painter and his outstanding art ideology are described.
