Hao Yu (1684—1793), named Bingdi, with another name Xuehai, and known as fuyang. Hao Yu was born in Dingzhou of Heibei province, which was Zhongshan County in ancient China, so called Hao Zhongshan. Hao Yu was the litterateur and Philosopher in the Early Term of Qing Dynasty. He experienced two emperors: Shunzhi, Kangxi. He once was appointed the Ministry of Punishment, the Imperial Censor in Hu Guang, and Circuit inspector in Sichuan. Later Hao Yu presented a secret memorial to the Emperor that Wu Sangui was imperiousness and gathered around soldiers. But Wu Sangui put him in the wrong and placed him to dead. Luckily, Shunzhi put him light and was exiled to Shenyang about 22 years. After the Three-Fan rebellion, Hao Yu was rehabilitated and promoted to the salt Ministry of Lianghuai and the head of Censorial Department by the emperor of Kangxi. In the 19 Year of Kangxi, Hao Yu was appointed the Circuit inspector of Guangxi. He reform the maladministration, and added the provincial Examination in Guangxi. He have charge of compiling The history of Guangxi province, which was the first the local records of Guangxi in Qing Dynasty.
