Hao Yu (1684—1793), named Bingdi, with another name Xuehai, and known as fuyang. Hao Yu was born in Dingzhou of Heibei province, which was Zhongshan County in ancient China, so called Hao Zhongshan. Hao Yu was the litterateur and Philosopher in the Early Term of Qing Dynasty. He experienced two emperors: Shunzhi, Kangxi. He once was appointed the Ministry of Punishment, the Imperial Censor in Hu Guang, and Circuit inspector in Sichuan. Later Hao Yu presented a secret memorial to the Emperor that Wu Sangui was imperiousness and gathered around soldiers. But Wu Sangui put him in the wrong and placed him to dead. Luckily, Shunzhi put him light and was exiled to Shenyang about 22 years. After the Three-Fan rebellion, Hao Yu was rehabilitated and promoted to the salt Ministry of Lianghuai and the head of Censorial Department by the emperor of Kangxi. In the 19 Year of Kangxi, Hao Yu was appointed the Circuit inspector of Guangxi. He reform the maladministration, and added the provincial Examination in Guangxi. He have charge of compiling The history of Guangxi province, which was the first the local records of Guangxi in Qing Dynasty. Hao yu have made a great contribution on the Economic and Cultural Construction in Guangxi, who was a influential figure in the history of Guangxi at his ages.This paper, with the the 4 chapters of poets of Zhongshan Shichao by Hao Yu as the research target, is to carry out version identification, character collation, aiming to let the readers understand Hao Yu and his poems. The foreword generally includes this aspects, such as the research on Hao Yu'Life, political ideas, his intercourse, and works and the information about the edition, and makes deep study on the ideas and content, the artistic characters of Hao Yu and his works, aiming at showing his values of literature, document and history, with the hope to make a comparatively scientific and objective and penetrating evaluation to Hao Yu and his works.
