Discussion On Hazy Beauty Of Chinese Paintings

in the article, by analyzing and studying hazy beauty of Chinese paintings, the author tries to understand the excellent quality of Chinese traditional culture, and carry it forward in modem Chinese paintings. While analyzing, the author finds Laozi's philosophical thought is the origin of hazy beauty. In addition, hazy beauty can be expressed in different ways, and the typical one is through Chinese traditional paintings. In the following part of this article, the author discusses how to express hazy beauty and its meaning in development of modem Chinese paintings. In the end, the author believes studying hazy beauty of Chinese paintings is not only to go back to traditional culture but also to hope that modem Chinese paintings can benefit from it.
