| Wei Zhuang was an excellent litterateur and politician in the end of the Tang Dynasty, he accomplished in poems and compiled collections of Tang poetry. He experienced war, absorbing good points but avoiding bad points of other litterateurs in cotemporary, using every pattern of poems and clear language, created beautiful artistic conception, expressed his profound feelings in the works, his poetic style and content was original, so he was a very special poet in the end of Tang Dynasty.This essay analyzes these questions: first, comparing Collection of Watering Flowers and Collection of Ability, related history, to discuss created time of his some works; second, related his poetry collections, exploring Wei Zhuang's poetic conception; third, expounds his profound thought in his poems from his four kinds of poems :distressing current affairs,roam,response between friends,meditate on the past; forth, discusses Wei Zhuang's poetic style and status both in the end of Tang Dynasty and Chinese poetic history.
