Researches On The Quantity Struclure And "NP1 (and) NP2"

In modern Chinese, the quantity phrases are always in front of the noun phrases. Previous studies were largely confined to a term, and this article discusses the Structure with two nouns.Firstly, we describe the types of the parallel noun phrases from the structural, semantic and parallel markings .Parallel structure noun phrases have the following four types : N1 + N2, N+NP, NP+N, NP1+NP2.,and the four types have different typical nature as the following sequences: N1+N2>NP1+NP2>N+NP>NP+N. In semantics, we divide the noun phrases into three kinds: the noun refers to persons,the noun refers to the things and the abstract noun .In semantics, the compound term noun phrases have three typical types: the noun refers to persons + the noun refers to the persons"," the noun refers to things + the noun refers to things" and " the abstract noun + the abstract noun". The typical nature of other combinations is much smaller. The parallel markings mainly have the form without signs and the form with signs. The form without signs is a form of zero parallel markings. The form with signs includes pronunciation stop and coordinate conjunction. Pronunciation stop is the separating mark and the coordinate conjunction has the following five ones:"和,与,并,同,及"。Then the article discusses the combination situation of the noun phrases and the quantity structures. The quantity structures have the semantic features of[+quantity], [+ individual ][- surely refers] .And these semantic features are influencing the appears of the quantity structure. In above condition, the semantics of the nouns, the Syntax functions, the Compound markings and the using of the structure all influence the appears of the quantity structure.Finally, the article analyzes the different meanings of "quantitative +NP1 (and) NP2".The Quantity structure has three semantic directions: (1) Directing to NP1; (2) Directing to NP2. (3) Directing to the whole noun structure. And the different directions have different requirements and conditions. The article focuses on the third one . The analysis shows that the Structure and semantic,Parallel markings,the quantity and Context of the "quantitative+ NP1 (and) NP2" all have impact on the semantic direction of the structure.The article is attending to analyses the questions above in order to promote the researches about the structure of"quantitative+ noun".
