Exporting Democracy Of America From The 20～(th) Century

Putting the American democracy to all over the globe, and trying to create a world according to its own appearance, this is the dream of America from the founding of nation. "Exporting democracy" mainly refers to the USA weighs other countries by its own right and wrong standards, especially the action and Cultural tradition of developing countries, and thinks it is the responsibility and duty to export democracy to every place of the world, namely taking the American democracy as the pattern and the prototype to promote the political system of the developing country which deffrent with American culture to the direction of the USA designed, finally realize a democratic world of American style. Exporting democracy is an important part of American government disseminating its culture values,and is an obvious characteristic of American foreign policy. Studying exporting democracy of America thoroughly is extremely necessary and have important realistic significance for our country to adjust the strategy and countermeasure according to the change of gambling environment. The main text of the thesis consists of three parts.The first part is the history course and the trais of each times of exporting democracy. The thesis divides the histiry of American exporting democracy from the 20^th century into four times: exporting democracy in the first half of the 20^th century,exporting democracy in the cold war ear,exporting democracy in the time just after cold war and exporting democracy in the time after "9 ? 11". Througn reorgenizing the history course of exporting demoracy, this part analyses its traits of each stage.The second part is the reason of American exporting democracy. Exporting democracy to other country is not the fondness of some American ruler, but it is decided by the ideology, the culture and the social system of America, there are deep roots of national believe, national idea and system. It certainly cann't deny there are some reasons of realistic interests in American exporting democracy, but it's also importent to value the ideological roots which are characteristic of America, like mission, individualism, ethnocentralism, and representative democracy. The USA want to create a world according to its appearance, and want to let all the other country accept its democratic pattern,so that the status of the only big empire and single pole hegemonism will exist forever, but that is absolutely difficult to realize.
