Shape is to create the body with a kind of idea .Chinese and west painting create different body with different idea and different manifestation.They come into bing formative art appearances under the different cultural background through long history.They get in touch with different race in aesthetic consciousness.This is the respective characteristics,and also is they difference.We compare the Chinese painting with the west painting in order to find the different and the sameness between them ,and they have no superiority and inferior.It relatively is also a kind of dialogue, intercourse and communication.This process will promotes them to understand mutually.This paper is divided into four chapter.In chapter one,we analyse the causation that is at the bottom of the different of the Chinese and west painting through comparing the humanities environment esthetics spirit of the ancient Greec with the Shan dynasty.In chapter two ,we relate the development of the Chinese and the west painting.We compare the painting characteristic between them about the painting and shape language and image language.In chapter 3 ,we discussed the modern Chinese and the west painting shape comparison and imagine mutually. In the last chapter,we get some point of view and draw a conclusion that the style must blend mutually with painter affection performance,and we must attch importance to the ethical plastic art style in the background of the fusion of the scuple style.This text applied the dialectical thinking method and we can induce for four methodology characteristic.First the phenomenon and logics unifying mutually.So-called phenomenon mean concrete art current of thought,work, writer.So-called logic mean a thinking process of dialectical thinking from abstract to idiographic way.Scondly the surface layer is relation to the absolute layers mutually.We point that the art creations optic surface layer is relation to the spirts layer.Thirdly,we combine the static state and dynamic states together.They have respective opposite and stable race characteristic and have the ages color that change continuously and still have mutual variation through communication and influence mutually since modern age.Fourthly,the geist change with the the logos.One hand,it must to be build on the cognitions of Chinese and west philosophy, history and culture,on the other hand ,spirit culture meaning should be understood through the geist taste of the work.Thus it can acquire the motive from the research ability and historic characters.The topic of Chinese and west painting shape compares is a foundation research of task.We know that art is like the pyramid and the majority are the base.The point of the pyramid rock is few so a few piece.As a graduate student,the road of the painting creations is just in the beginning.It will be helpful that we have firm and strong base of research.
