Family Fiction In The New Period

The family fiction is the main theme of the contemporary literature, and the character of Chinese society, i.e. the isomorphic of family and state, transformed temporary family fiction into the fable of nation-state. From 1980, 90s, the family fiction re-dominated the eyesight of readers. This paper has illustrated the new family fiction with the angle of imagination of nation-state by allying the modernization, thereafter, discussed the model of Chinese temporary literature's imagination to the modern nation-state under the global language circumstance.The article is divided into three parts:The first part, introduction, the main theory of this article and the academic background are shown in this part. We've made a carding and retrospection on the Chinese literature's imagination to the nation-state during the whole 21th century, based on the brief presentation of Anderson's theory on the nation-state, i.e."Imagined Communities". It points out the main objective of this paper, on the one hand observe the family fiction in the new period in the new view of the imagination of nation-state, on the other hand in the process of demonstration it's expected to get the enlightenment for the temporary literature to play an important role in constructing nation-state.The second part, main body, we've made an analysis on three typical family fictions, Ancient Vessel, White Deer Plain, The Song of Maple-poplar Village, to point out the different imaginations of temporary literature on the modernization of the nation-state. Ancient Vessel indicates that the traditional family ideology influenced and baffled the process of modernization of nation-state, and it attempts to make a syncretic imagination to combine the traditional and the modern, the national and the western. White Deer Plain concepts of the politics and the revolution had a deep influence on the construction of modern nation-state, seeking the available resource for the modern country by further profoundly researching the culture and history of the nation, it is one kind of imagination of nation-state's modernization in the way of self-construction. The Song of Maple-poplar Village deconstructs the ideology of nation and family, revealing the man's exiling anxiety in face of the difficulties, it breaks through the limit of rational imagination of nation-state which is based on democratic and science since"May 4th", by discussing the original desire for survival of the individual , it also offers one kind of reflective method of imagination.The third part, conclusion, the general evaluation on the imagination of the family fiction in the new period to the nation-state.
