Abstract: The theory of phantasy is a very important component of Husserl's phenomenology. This paper investigated several important texts of Husserl's in different periods, and concluded that Husserl hadn't finished his transcendental turn in his Ideas Pertaining to a Pure Phenomenology and to a Phenomenological Philosophy (1913), at least to the extent that it showed little remarkable change in the problem of phantasy. The true accomplishment was achieved several years later, after Ideas was published, especially in his late manuscript"Pure Possibility and Phantasy"(1922/23) during this period. This paper was divided into three parts: The first chapter was an investigation into the concept of phantasy in his Logical Investigations (1900/01) and Ideas; the second chapter was a transitional one, briefly introducing the general background of his turn from Logical Investigations to Ideas; the third chapter was the emphasis of this paper, displayed in detail his analysis of phantasy's intention structure of Noesis-Noema in"Pure Possibility and Phantasy".
