The thesis is a case study of the love stories written by Zweige .It rectifies the improper tendencies by case feminist criticism through analyzing their misreading about Zweige's love stories. In the meantime, the thesis points out that the perspective of Zweige's love stories can't be considered as male ideology.In Zweige's love stories, love is essentially a faith or a religion , meanwhile, love has become an ideal path towards the Utopian world. His love Utopia tries to use the love to redeem the world contaminated by the war.The thesis has five chapters in all. The first chapter is the base of the thesis. It describes the meaning and major characteristics of utopia, thus quoting the major characteristics of love utopia in Zweige's love stories.Chapter 2 continues to list the feminist criticism's major comprehension about Zweige's love stories. This chapter divides into 3 aspects: the criticism about love in the stories, about the female images, and about the writer himself. The second section of this chapter analyses the questions in Zweige's novels that are criticized by the Feminists preliminarily. The third section goes on to make a deep-going analysis of the contradictions and weaknesses in the feminist criticism. It will illustrate in 2 aspects: their confusions on sex and their concrete ways to demonstrate their views and theories.Chapter 4 analyses the concrete embodiments of Utopia and ideology in Zweige's love stories.Chapter 5 analyses the causes for the formation of the pleasant Utopian world in Zweige's writing. It contains 5 aspects : influences from family and society, unique Jewish, spiritual idol, wars and the archetype of Anima.
