The essay explores the influence of cultural context on historic narration based on the works by Haoran in his 45-year-long cultivation from his first novel "the Happy Sparrow" in 1956 to his oral autobiography "My Life" in early 2000. And based on other research achievements Of Haoran's works, use the method of Close readings ,the essay focuses on two aspects: on one hand, it explains that as a local one, the author's main works depend largely on the mainstream of consciousness, on the other hand, the individual work creates another world of existence through the process of ideological explanation. The world is conceived by the author's imagination through the mainstream of his ideological state, which is the feature of Haoran's novels characterized by "imaginative localization" and "local imagination".Haoran describes some "incidents" in Chinese modern history. His descriptions are themselves "incidents", on which the research goes beyond its actual values. It is the start, and also the significance of our research. Furthermore, the research is emphasized literally and aesthetically on the reflection of ideological authoring and criticism. In view of its particular aspect, the research is possibly pioneering a new field of research on modern Chinese literature.
