The Study Of Interpreter In Ming Dynasty

On the influence of the tribute system, Tongshi which was the interpreter in the ming dynasty as the main participant took part in the Ming tribute system,and played an important role in the relation of Ming and other countries.This paper would discuss on the development of tongshi,used history, linguistics, ethnically and other method to study it.This paper discussed tongshi according to the historical course, trying to integrate the influence of ancient tributary thought and foreign policies.First, it would summarize the development of the interpreter in the ancient China.Sencond, it analysed the characters of tongshi in the different period of Ming dynasty, and analysed how tongshi gave birth in and its development, composing of nation and the effect on the Sino-foreign retionship and tribute system and so on. At last, it would summarize the characters of tongshi and its inference on Sino-foreign and nation relationship.
