| The research subject of this paper is the materials of mythology and myth-stuff mentioned in Shiji. Systematically, the materials can be divided into two kinds, those of mythology strictly-formed and those of myth-stuff, which strictly do not belong to the former. The former mainly refers to those against social convention and of super-magic behaviors and explaining men and things by destiny, as written in "Wudibenji", "Zhoubenji", "Qinbenji" and so on. The later mainly refers to those concerning astronomical phenomena and astrologic divining mentioned in "Tianguanshu","Lishu" with spirit quality. The conclusion, based on the analysis of the whole paper, thinks: Simaqian's different attitudes towards the mythology and myth-stuff in different periods embody the complex relation between men and events and destiny. |
