As a great soul of the Buddhist learing in Suitang Dynasty, Zongmi had maken a synthesis in inner and outside angle of Buddhist learing to thought of Hsin hsingo To Buddhism, Zongmi had founded a standard of judging thought in Heze zen school and Huayanzong. Zongmi had taken his standard to judge and thaw Hsin hsing mind of inner Buddhism. To outside Buddhism, Zongmi had maken a Buddhism standard to judge and thaw Hsin hsing idea of Confucians and Tao chia or Tao chiao. This article searchs Zongmi' Hsin hsing thought, and reveals speculative feature of Zongmi' Hsin hsing thoughtsystem, moreover analyzes Zongnmi' Hsin and hsing in their connections.In the whole, this article divides four sections. The first is the preface.
