1. IntroductionThree years of study is really too short a time for a painter. Therefore, I regard my dissertation and graduate work as both a summary of my study and a new beginning of my future exploration in art. Since I always have definite aim in my creation, I have accomplished solving quite a few problems in my study. During such a course, I've made great effort to go deep into the subject so as to make further progress. The dissertation will be devoted to "penetration" (transparent) - one of the fundamental research subjects n both traditional and modern painting home and abroad. By summarizing the manifestation of "penetration"(transparent) in some excellent art works, combining my deliberation on it and my exploration into the subject, I manage to demonstrate my understanding of this concept in the paper. In addition, there are also some suppositions generated over the creation of my graduate works. The purpose of the dissertation is to provide some reference to my later art creation.
