The Study Of Economic Development In The Fujian Mountainous Area During The Wudai Dynasty

This paper researches the development of mountainous economy during the Wudai Dynasty in Fujian. With historical methods, as well as the synthesis of economy and sociology, we put it in the process of the history to know the background well, and we want to analyze the features of mountainous economy of this period. We also pay attention to the relation between mountain economy and Jiangnan economy, and that between mountain economy and coastal economy, and to the interaction between the economy and the society of mountainous regions. First, we determine the land scale, briefly describe the stages of the development of the social economy and the recourses of mountainous regions. Then the profiles of the entire mountain economy, including the agriculture, the handcraft, the commerce, the evolution of city, the interactions between the economy and society, are detailed in the following chapters. The purpose of this paper is to do some help to the economic constructions of the mountainous regions of Fujian nowadays through resuming the facts of the development of mountainous economy during the Wudai Dynasty in Fujian.
