"Prejudice" ("Vorurteil") is a conceptual category of "Philosophical Hermeneutics" in the contemporary westward philosophy. In this thesis, it would be used as a theoretic tool in the study of Tchaikovsky's musical aesthetics Idea. Here, I choosed Tchaikovsky's musical criticisms as the research object, trying to explore the context or "Prejudice" of these musical criticism, and want to make evaluations of them in the theoretic horizon of "Philosophical Hermeneutics". In the same time, I also want to make further explore of the methods on how to use this theoretic tool in the research of musical aesthetics idea. The main contents of the thesis is as follows:In the first chapter, I had summarized the connotation of "prejudice" and the correlative theoretic leitmotiv of "Philosophical Hermeneutics".n the second chapter, I had made Tchaikovsky's musical criticisms as the research object, and concluded his ideas of musical aesthetics. In the third chapter, I had explored the basic elements of "prejudices" of Tchaikovsky's musical aesthetics ideas based on the datum I had collected. In the forth chapter, I had parsed the "prejudices" of Tchaikovsky's musical aesthetics ideas in two layers. First, I had introduced the original meanings of the "prejudices" in the "Philosophical Hermeneutics" to parse Tchaikovsky's musical aesthetics ideas. Second, I had made further explore of the methods on how to use this theoretic tool in the research of musical aesthetics ideas. That is, to explore the parallelism between the musical aesthetics ideas and the elements of their "Prejudices" , and to bring forward some experiments and approaches of the study. In the epilogue, I had summarized the theoretic fruits and questions in the process of study.
