The Spread And Transmutation Of Chinese Traditional Zheng Art

The flourish of Chinese traditional Zheng art is owing to the great power of spread. However, studies specialized on the transmission of Zheng is quite few. Based on the culture of Chinese history, geography and languages, the spread media and progress of traditional Zheng art was seriously investigated. It's hoped this thesis can help to know more about the development of Chinese Zheng art.The thesis is composed of four parts:In the first part of this thesis, the concept of transmission was introduced, as well as its significance to the existence and development of music.In the second part of this thesis is discussion of transmission trend of Chinese Traditional Zheng Music. Firstly, the transmission direction of Chinese Traditional Zheng Music was discussed in view of the origin. Based on the cultural relic of "Yue Zheng ", the traditional parlance for "the Origin of Qin" was oppugned , some people thought that Zheng might origin from the South, so the previous points was not considered naturally correct completely. Therefore, it is think that Zheng could be transmitted from the south to the north and cognized by zhongyuan people gradually, and this conclusion was analyzed carefully. Secondly, it is especially referred to the transmission of Zheng during the period of SuiTang. Under the comparatively steady social atmosphere of SuiTang, Zheng acted an emissary of communion between Chinese and foreign culture, had quite influence on some countries, such as Japan, Burma etc.The third part of this thesis includes the transmission media and pattern of Chinese Traditional Zheng Music. The pervasion, radiation, communion and introjections of the spreading Zheng Music is progressed and finished through many media. This part was introduced mainly from migration, folk actor, palace music, religion and so on. Both conscious transmission and unconscious transmission can promote the communion and change of Zheng Music and arosing the newer development. Moreover, the spread pattern of traditional Zheng Music was studied.
