A Study On SiPingDiao's Music For Voices And Its Singing Style

This essay studies on the Siping Diao Drama, which is a young type of drama presented on the stage in the 1940s. Its research is mainly through three respects: It's sources and changes, the characteristics and structures of the music for voices and singing style.Besides the preface and the conclusion, the essay is mainly divided into three parts:Part one: The sources and changes. The author analyses its historical sources, shaping and development of the SiPing Diao Drama through some historical data and the performances of artists.Part two: The musical tone of SiPing Diao. It is argued both on the musical characteristics and the musical structures of SiPing Diao Drama in Details.Part three: The singing style of SiPing Diao Drama. It is expounded both on the way of singing and the singing techniques through the following aspects: the breathing support the precise pronunciation,the resonance,the intonation, etc. It also introduced some representative artists and their singing styles .
