This thesis contrasts the negation structures of Chinese with the structures of Russian in a comprehensive and systematical way from the angle of the"Teaching of Chinese as a Second Language". The contrast includes negations on the level of words and phrases as well as those on the level of sentences, and denotes the special phenomena in this field both in Chinese and Russian. It also, according to Clifford Practor's difficulty level mode, gives analysis and some corresponding teaching advice on the possible difficulties of the Russian-native-language learners when they are learning the Chinese negation structures. Both the results of the contrast and the difficulty analysis can be provided to the teachers of TCSL as supplementary materials for classes, compilation of textbooks and language tests. This thesis considers that the major difference between the two is: the negative"не"and"нет"in Russian is simpler, as it only denotes the meaning of negation; while in Chinese, there is a division of"bu"and"mei(you)", which have additional information of tense and aspect as well as the meaning of negation, and sometimes, it needs particular particle words or structures to form a full sentence negation. On the expressions of different negative focuses, the Russian language can attain it through the position changes of the negative"не"; while in Chinese, it has to employ particular words or sentence structures to denote the focus of negation. These differences are determined by the natures of the two languages, so this thesis proves, from the angle of negation structures, the typical characteristics of Chinese and Russian, as the representations of the language lacking in morphological changes and the language abounding in morphological changes.
