Based on the question of tones found in the teaching practice, the author makes a detailed study and analysis of the Vietnamese students acquisition of Chinese tones in Entry-level and Medium high classes and probes into the error and it' s regulation, using the listening and acoustic experiment methods.Vietnamese is a language with tones. Compared with the students whose native language hasn't tones, Vietnamese students have their language advantage in learning Chinese; meanwhile they have their own barriers. From the viewpoint of the relationship between listening and pronunciation, taking the methods of listening with noting and Experimental Phonetics , the thesis analyzes the listening regulation of Chinese tones and the difficult sequence of pronunciation of Vietnamese students in the theoretical framework of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. At first, the ability of listening with noting of Vietnamese students is tested by the methods of listening with noting and pronunciation, and the difficult sequences of listening are discussed. Then, the ability of pronunciation is tested through using the software and the program of the tune for identification by the methods of recording and choosing values.
