To provide an objective basis for the speech evaluation and speech therapy on the patients with cleft plate, a series of parameters, reflecting the commonly-used words and expressions by children, were measured based on the requirements of the investigation over cleft plate voice. The data regarding speech quality, duration, sound intensity, and pitch, sampled from five boys and five girls at the age from 5 to 7 years, were gathered and measured. After that, the values of their parameters were statistically analyzed by using the professional software for voice spectrum analysis. Conclusively, a comparison was made between the values of the parameters relating to the cleft plate voice by children.
