This paper uses the experience of Case Study Approach that iswidely used in MBA education, and advances a new approach ------Case Based Approach in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. The main content of the paper includes studying the history, concept and characteristics of Case Study Approach; on the basis of these the paper defines the conception of Case Based Approach in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, analyses its distinguishing features and teaching requirements, designs a the sample lesson, figures out the characteristics of its teaching evaluation and text writing and so on.
