A Research Into The Analysis Of The Current Situation Of The College Students' Psychological Health Education Work And Its Countermeasures

To propel the development of the college students' psychological health education work in our country, there is a necessity to study and ponder over the work itself. This paper describes and analyses its current situation based on first-hand investigation and adopts the researching methods of questionnaire survey, interviewing, cases analysis, comparative analysis, behavior studying and so on. On such a basis the author makes a primitive thought for the future work.To begin with , the author carries out the questionnaire survey in 37 universities into the psychological healthy education work, and gets the findings that great achievement have been made in the aspects of organization establishment, the construction of the full-time and part-time staff and working conditions as well as the effect on the education . However, there still exists some problems such as the random investments ,shortage of staff member and the attention from the leaders .The author also analyses several common models in college students' psychological health education and points out that the integrated perspective is the developing orientation of our country in this area.The thesis chooses Central South University as the case to study the psychological health education situation and briefly introduces the psychological education situation in some foreign countries as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan.Based on the survey, analysis and comparison, the author poses some countermeasures and suggestions for the following aspects, i.e. to change the concepts, to improve the cognition; to strengthen the guiding policies and legislation; to enforce the research into the psychological health education through synthesizing the resources and to enhance the quality of the psychological workers. Take the guiding polices for example, the author suggests that the educational executive departments draft some relative polices to ensure the sources of funds and to stipulate the minimal investment. The number of the professionals should be set in accordance with the proportion of students and teachers. The compulsory nature of psychological health education course should also be clarified.
