Researches On Zhuangzi Study Of Zhang Taiyan

Zhang Taiyan is a famous democracy revolutionist and thinker, also a great expert on Sinology, which made he known as "an acknowledged revolutionist". He worked at ethic, country, study and revolution all his life. Zhang had written a lot of works, many works are difficult to understand such as Words of Urgency (Qiu Shu), On Sinology (Guo Gu Lun Hen), Jian Lun. His thoughts is a very complete and complicated system that Zhuangzi (formerly translated as Chuang-tzu) played a very important role. Zhang not only quote Zhuangzi in his work and also view world in Zhuangzi's life attitude. In recent ten years, Zhang was researched from many other aspects, but there isn't a systematic research about Zhang's view and study about Zhuangzi. This dissertation tried to worked at his works Zhuangzi Jie Gu , Essays on Relativism (Qi Wu Lun Shi) and his other works which about Zhuangzi in order to grasp his research on Zhuangzi. The dissertation tried to understand Zhang's thought not by research Zhang Taiyan just as a revolutionist in history but to understand his thoughts by discover the content that be the basis of his revolution act.The dissertation is consists of five parts. In the introduction, there is a brief introduction about Zhang Taiyan's study and revolution ,and zhe studies about him,as the basis of the coming parts. The first part describes Zhang's life in three phases in order to show his research on Zhuangzi. The first phase is starting phase and emphasis on Gao lan shi zhaji in Hujin Jingshe; the second phase is the most important phase because of Essay on Relativism/Qi wu lunshi and Zhuangzi Jiegu. But due to this part has two sections, we just state Zhang's thought about some Philosophy problems here. The third phase is about his teaching in which time he is more correspond to Zhuangzi in spirit. The second part of dissertation analysis Zhang's thoughts by Essays on Relativism. He explains Zhuangzi with Buddhism and finds the best explain of "equal" in Relativism. It's showed Zhang's thoughts return back to single that he opposed to people's fight and calls for a new order under which every people are equal. The third part gives a clue from Read magazine (Wang Nian Sun) to Zhu zi Pingyi (Yuyue) and then to Zhang Taiyan's Zhuangzi Jiegu , concludes the content and skill of Zhuangzi Jiegu, and judge it briefly on it's meaning on Zhuangzi's interpretation. The fifth part is a brief conclusion of this dissertation.
