The Production Of Art In Consumption Period

The literary and art is changed with the turn of the ages. Every turn of age inevitably brings the literary and art a corresponding change. The coming of Consumption Period has an important influence to the domains of the social esthetic culture, human's spirit ecology as well as the production of literary and art. In this article I attempt to take the theory of post-modern consumption society of west and the theory of Marxism art production as the theory background, take the current China's art production and human's spirit condition as the realistic foundation, make a symptom analysis to the Chinese immediately art production and seek an ideal condition of them.This article divides into five chapters:In the first chapter I mainly take the consumption period as the context of art production and make an analysis to it. The western society has already entered a model consumption age. If only said from the economical angle, our country is overall in the turn from the former modern age to the modern society. But looked from the cultural angle that, under the influence of global consumerism, consumption culture have already become to the main culture shape of current society. We could say that our country has already entered a would-be consumption society. The consumption culture is one kind of secular culture. Consumption becomes people's basic life style and the people's mainly purpose of life is the present satisfaction of the body. The change of human's disposition structure has formed one kind of esthetic life idea, and has brought a structural change of the artistic world and the esthetic tendency of daily life. These changes have liberated the sensibility and also have brought people into an inevitable erroneous zone of human nature. This constituted a special context of art production.In the second chapter I mainly take Marx's social product theory as the basis and put the art production in the theory frame of the social product to make a philosophical and esthetical explanation for the symptom analysis and the suitable appraisal. As one kind of physical production, art could be a kind of commodity. But in the nature, it is a kind of intellectual production. It could promote human's life by the production of artistic value.
