Experimental Study On Effects Of Cognitive Style, Training Environment To Soldier's Affective Priming, Prospective Memory

Affective Priming, Prospective Memory has been an important subject in study of Psychology. New cognitive science affirmed that cognition is related to emotion. It is a very important subject of cognitive psychology that emotion how to affect cognition and the effect how to come into being. Study about affective priming has become the pet of the field about emotion and cognition. In all kinds of cognitive actions, Study about memory has been the important subject all the time. Prospective memory is the most characteristic one in subjects of memory from actual life. And it has been the hot spot in study of memory psychology field in recent years. Prospective memory is the common memory-phenomenon in people's daily life. And it is related to human' plan and behavior to future. And it is very important to people's normal life. Cognitive style is the important element to all studies about human been.Basic intention of psychological study is to have been application in life and advice people's life. This paper, do some studies about soldier' affective priming and prospective memory on different cognitive styles and different training environments. On theory, Fist this study can make people has a certain cognition with effects of cognitive style, training environment to soldier's affective priming, prospective memory. Also, this study maybe makes the studies about emotion and memory more be related to people's daily life and have been applied to people's life. Second, it can do a further pointer to character of emotion and memory, and provide a new study angle of view to this field. On practice, this study maybe can help people identify the importance of holding one self's mood status, and can make people have a clear cognition on prospective memory failure, and can provide some basis to how to betterment people's prospective memory to advice people's quality of life. This study maybe can provide some basis to construction of the army.Based on the hypothesis and objective above, this study employed the Embedded Figures Test that revised by the Psychology department of Beijing Normal University in 1981 and typical soft ware on psychology DMDX, adopt style of experiment interact with test, do some experimental study to 90 soldiers from certain army of our country.From the result statistical analysis, some conclusions are drawn are as follows:First, the personality characteristic: cognitive style is the basic reason to different levels of affective priming. And cognitive style is related to people' performance of prospective memory.The levels of affective priming of soldiers whose cognitive style is field-dependence are notably rank above the one of field-independence and intermediate type. The performance of prospective memory of soldiers whose cognitive style is field-independence is better than other two groups'. Training environment has effects on holding one self's mood status and betterment people's prospective memory.Second, the time effect of affectve priming has been justified. SOA has a notable effect on affective priming. When SOA is 150ms the affective priming effect is best obvious.Third, Presentation of presenting affective priming has a notable effect on emotion priming. The affective priming effect of subliminal perception is more than the one of supraliminal perception.Fourth, there are accumulative effects of affective priming.Fifth, emotion accumulative material' character has different effects.
