Ancient Chinese synonym study in recent years has acquired lots of achievements, especially in pan-dynastic study, in dynastic study and in the study of special woks. It has become highlight of researching exegetics and lexicology of ancient Chinese language. But the period synonym research on ancient Chinese is still a feeble link. The language used during the Pre-Qin dynasty and the Han dynasties is the first step of the development of Chinese language, and has great impact on Chinese in latter ages. During this period, military words became a system and had a derivative boom.So we have combined the dynastic history research with the research according to category of meaning. We selected several groups of synonyms to study and hope it can help us to have some all-side deferens and to find an approach of dynastic history research. We selected 17 groups of synonyms (including some other relative words). We demonstrate the aspect of their being same or similar firstly, and then analyze their distinctive features. We emphasize their synchronic differences, and at the same time, we study the development of several synonyms groups. We discover the following facts:The research of ancient Chinese language relies on original papers, notes of people in ancient and modern times and lexis study on ancient Chinese language. The differences of semantic categories lead to the differences of distinctive features. It is usually apparent for the synonyms of human beings and their actions that the differences of lexical meaning lead to the differences of grammatical features, but there is a time constraint for the validity of etymologic meaning and semantic meaning restricting the grammatical features, and it remains to be researched where and why to break through the restriction. The development of synonyms group displays some regularity.
