The theme theory and the rheme theory were proposed earlier by Mathesius, one of the founder of the Prague school. The purpose that he mentioned these concept was to study the different sentence component had what different function during the communication. He found that the component in the beginning of the sentence had a special function. This function could become a stating of discussing. Mathesius named the starting component as theme,and named the other components as rheme,at the same time,the theme showed known information,the rheme showed new information. The Systemic-Functional school that represented with Halliday accepted the two term that presented by Prague school. Nay,Halliday developed the theme concept further in the book of An Introductions to Functional Grammar,he mentioned the simple theme and multiple theme. He pointed definitely that the main difference between simple theme and multiple theme was the former had no internal structure,it could not be distinguished more,moreover,the latter had internal structure,it could carved up into the textral theme,the interpersonal theme and the topical theme. By presenting the mutiple theme,it not only riched the theme structure,but also analyzed every theme component. This paper based on Halliday's theme-rheme theory,discussed and depainted the composing and component of theme structure in oral Chinese stressly,at the same time,we presented superposition theme concept. Besides, we also analyzed the concretely expressional form of Chinese theme structure. Last, we suggested that inducted the theme concept into the teaching Chinese as foreign language, and we also showed our own reason in the article.
