Love And Altruism In The Romance And The Hero Novels

Literature is a part of Man-ology. As the representative Literature in Europe and China, the Romance and Hero novels have difference and similarities. They were born out of their own Culture trait, so they can offer a wide Culture language for comparative literature's parallel research. The thesis research the Romance and Hero novels just use parallel research method, the point of view on the love and altruism, from literarily construe similarities and differences between them. Then try to expose the particularity in European culture and Chinese culture, enucleate hero-errantry and knight-errantry's similarities and differences on culture trait, value judgment, and influence civil character.The thesis has five chapters. In the first chapter, summarize knight-system, the Romance, also include Hero Culture and Hero novels; The second, discourse upon the love in the Romance and Hero novels; The third, discourse upon the altruism in the Romance and Hero novels; The Fourthly ,compare similarities and differences on culture trait, value judgment, and influence civil character hero-errantry and knight-errantry; In the end of the thesis, conclude that knight Culture attach importance to the love and don't exclude the altruism, the knight Culture's kernel is love and the honor is the all-important; Hero Culture attach importance to the altruism but exclude the love, the knight Culture's kernel is the altruism.
