This paper tries to deal with some problems interrelated to Lord of Chunshen. First of all, herein some discussions in the realm among the academia, most of the scholars lean to the opinion that he was the descendent of Huang State. I agree the opinion of Qianmu, Lord of Chunshen should be the illegitimate son of King Huai of Chu, the brother of the King Qingxiang of Chu, so that his status of Gongzi resumed. On the basis, I probably infer that the year of his birth about 320B.C. Secondly, his title maybe come from Chunshen, the name of his fief. The address should be in Shouchun, the preexistence of Shouchun. From this point I infer the fact that Lord of Chunshen was obliged twelve counties north to the River Huai: the King Kaolie of Chu wanted to move the capital to Shouchun, the twelve counties north to the River Huai to Lord of Chunshen mainly to pay the expenditure to build the new capital. Thirdly, the stories of Lord of Chunshen were wrong in the historical documents, especially the Lord put Lihuan, a beauty, on King Kaolie. Historians didn't believe it. I take the new response to the examine of Huangshisan, Qianmu and Miaowenyuan, thinking the polt ture that Lord of Chunshen married Lihuan to the King Kaolie of Chu. I further doubt that Lihuan was not the sister of Liyuan, but Liyuan's lover whom chose for the special purpose, the polt. The King Ai of Chu would be a son of Liyuan and Lihuan, not the posthumous son of the King Kaolie of Chu, nor the son of the Lord. The last, the opinion of Lord of Chunshen, there are two different versions: one sings high praise him, the other demotes him too low in some modern opinion. So the paper tries to judge him in the Warring States Period, extruding the activity of the person in troubled times, comparing him with Lord of Mengchang, Lord of Pingyuan and Lord of Xinling, undoubtly, he should be among the other Lords.
