An Investigation Study Of Music Associations And Southern Music Associations Of Gaoluo

In the past, South Gaoluo and North Gaoluo was one village, named "Gao Luo". Untilnow these two villages have both Music Association (yinyuehui), performing tradition music,and Southern Music Association (nanyuehui) mainly performing Chinese pop song or Chinesedrama aria. This thesis regards the two villages as a community, and takes the 4 internalextra-curricular folks music organizations: Music Association of South Gaoluo, SouthernMusic Association of South Gaoluo, Music Association of North Gaoluo, Southern MusicAssociation of North Gaoluo, as the investigation object. Then it takes the fieldwork as thefoundation, trying hard through the investigation, from the whole community life anglestudies the survival situation, the social function of these folk music organizations attaching insome belief ceremony with two kinds of different artistic styles in one community. Thus thethesis expounds the historical, social and psychological factors which music organizationscould got the dense distribution in villages. In addition, the rich music cultural heritage also isthe important writing content of this thesis.The thesis is consisted of four chapters. The first chapter introduces the history and thesocial environment, which primarily aiming at the cultural ecology of Gaoluo. The secondchapter is the main body. We stated the cultural anthropology content of these musicassociations from angels such as instrument, playing place, ceremony with music and socialfunction etc. Then the thesis points out the important function of these two kinds ofassociation in the inhabitant's real lives. The third chapter introduces the gongche scores (akind of Chinese traditional scores) of the Music Association. Then the fourth chapter carrieson to inquire into the text structure and the qupai (fixed formula of music)'s origin of theHoutu Scroll (music text).
