Cognitive Study On Hyperbole

This paper has studied hyperbole as cognition. The article has thought that it is a kind of cognition figure of speech to hyperbole, have explained the course of hyperbole's cognitive psychology. It has analyzed the mode of combination of hyperbole's semantic components by componential analysis. And it has pointed that hyperbole's essence is that hyperbole's subject can accept the limited characteristic at the range of admitting. And it has summed up hyperbole's cognitive structure and language structure on this basis. The article has appraised hyperbole in terms of ideal of using. And it has thought that hyperbole appraising should be firstly appraise creativity of hyperbole rhetoric and putted forward the effective method of hyperbole appraising.
