Development motivation as core concept will be discussed in the thesis. The environment may affect child's self- understanding, the self-efficiency of which is the key aspect to affect the development of the child's motive.First, what is developmental motivation must be defined clearly. Need is the premise of motivation, at the same time, self-efficiency and meaning-taking also lead the direction of a child's activity, the development is obtained by one kind of new structure, or is formed from the original structure to the new one. The belief about one's self-ability as a core, one's opinion of social value, and environment condition are integrated to affect the development of a child's motivation.Second, several theories related to child's development motivation are introduced , such as the motivation theory of behaviorism, Mathlow's need theory, and social cognition.Third, some factors to affect the development of motivation are analyzing subsequently, for example, the understanding to one's own needs, the constructing of one's self-efficiency, the tendency of one's meaning-taking and social resources, the key factor of which is self-efficiency.In the end, how environment fosters and stimulates a child's motivation is set forth in the thesis by discussing how to mobilize several kinds of resources to improve child's self-efficiency and push one's potency to the limit.
