New Humanity Literature refers to the literary writing by the youths born in the 1980s, which is also defined as'80-post"writing by some critics. It is an influential phenomenon since the 1990s. Its representative authors include: Han Han, Guo Jingming,. ZhanYueran, Li Shasha, Chun Shu, Sun Rui, Xiao Fan, Jiang Feng, Hu Jian, Zhang Jiawei and other elite writers. Their literary rebellion and passionate behavior make up a kind of distinctive cultural insights. New Humanity Literature strives to rebel against the meaning of existence, thought value, and behavioral norms of all the existing cultures. It endeavors to shake off all the cultural and behavioral bondage, draw a clear line from all the rational regulations and norms to create a pleasant sensation in oneself in the political economical and cultural sense, and indulge in the his performance and western culture. Thus, the themes displayed by New Humanity Literature generally include impulse for no reason, illusive ideal, rebellious passion and indifferently numb attitude.Anti-cultural writing is a rebellious writing movement against the existing contents of culture and discourse, whereas the anti-writing culture is a rebellious cultural movement against the writing conventions and expressive forms of that time. Now and then, those two rebellious movements were incorporated into one, closely related to the media movement of that time. New Humanity Literature at the end of the last century is actually both an anti-cultural movement and anti-writing cultural movement. The media movement not only triggers the movement, but also dominates the movement occasionally and profoundly influences the development of the social culture and literature. In an era when internet is developing rapidly, a piece of writing or a literary movement are like a piece of product or behavioral activities. Therefore, to study the media properties of the literary works or a movement enables us to discover their transmissive essence and consumeristic mechanism, and bring forth its aesthetic and social meaning in all-sided ways. There exists distance between the media value and social ideology. Media must lead the fashion and trend when opened to the social trend. Only in this way can we guarantee the development direction of mass culture and New Humanity Literature. How to live and write in a more commercialized and mediumistic social and cultural environment while guarding against the marketization and fashionization remains a problem not only to New Humanity Literature but also to our society and era.
