Moreover, Zhang Henshui's romantic story kept proper aesthetic distance with readers, suit general readers' aesthetic faculties, thus successfully won the general readers who appreciated works mainly depended on intuition.Secondly, as form of novels, romantic story has narrative function. The occurrence of love has spatio-temporal narrative function. Triangle and mutitangular love affair become motive for narration. The depiction of men and women's mental state in love expands the apace of narrative and makes the novel more profound. Mostly, Love stories in Zhang Henshui's novels, such as a string through beads, are the important clues in novels.Finally, profound thought is embodied in romantic story. Leading actors who combine old and new style in love show that the author tried to combine traditional and modern culture. The choices in love implicate cultural consideration. Moral, ethics and arousal from depression, frustration etc, permeates romantic stories. And make the novel more profound.
