Chiang Kai-shek launched the New Life Movement in Nanchang in order to resume the China traditional morality in 1934. The movement's object was to reconstruct the new nation and the new county, by means of resume "Propriety. Righteousness. Integrity. Asense of shame " which was the traditional morality of China fundational essences in thousands years. It begun with the everyday life, then innovated the individual, and finally attained the aim .In a sense the New Life Movement may also be supposed to a social life modernization movement . In the entire period ,the New Life Movement launched the cleaning movement . the life" militarization, productivity. artistic quality "Movement . the community undesirable customs reformation movement . the village service movement and many other kinds of reconstruction social life movements . Especially after the broken out of the war resistance against Japanese aggression, in the new condition the. movement had to turned the orbit of resistance against aggression in practice and in theory. The New Life Movement was a production of the political and economical intercourse and collision between China and the West, and also was the imitation to the West.
