| We take the construction of " (V+O1) +O2" as the object of our research in this paper. We' ve made a multi-angle description and discussion based on the two-triangle-thedry and supported by the valency theories, cognitive linguistic theories, grammaticalization and the corresponding approaches, etc. We' ve tried our best to make a both static and dynamic description and explanation from its form to meaning.The paper consists of six parts:In Chapter One, we' ve scanned the development of " (V+O1) +O2" construction in recent years and found that the number of "V+O1" taking an object has increased to 762. The use of " (V+O1) +O2" has become more and more popular.In Chapter Two, we' ve made a detailed syntactic analyses of " (V+O1) +O2" , such as its form, O1 and O2. We conclude that "2+2" sound form is its advantageous syllabic mode. O2 are mainly the norminal objects.Chapter Three is a semantic analysis of " (V+O1) +O2" . We first analyze the semantic type of O2 in this construction. There are ten kinds of meaning type, among which the object of place is the advantageous meaning type. A study of semantic match between "V+d" and O2 is also made in " ( V+O1 ) +O2" construction.Chapter Four is a valence analysis of "V+d" . We research into the valence of "V+d" and the change of its argument selection.
