On The Methodology Of Humanism Psychology

This thesis focuses on human being—the theme of psychology. The aim of this thesis is to explore elementarily the developing process andbasal theoretical connotation of the humanistic psychology, and value itreasonably. We expect that the unique approaches in conformity withhuman essence can be established in psychology.This thesis is composed of six parts. (1) Introduction discusses. Themodern psychology falls into crisis due to the methodology. As theopposite of the methodology of scientific psychology, the methodologyof the humanistic psychology makes up for the deficiency to some extent.In order to establish a reasonable methodology of psychology, asystematic research on the methodology of the humanistic p'sychology isnecessary. (2) The origin of the methodology of the humanisticpsychology. There are four motivating factors of its origin: scientificpsychology's crisis; modern science; western psychology and themodern psychology. (3) The fundamental theoretical connotation of thehumanistic psychology. There are five aspects of the content: theresearch approach of humanistic science; the idea of scientific essence ofthe subject-centered; the research route of holism; the humanness ofintuitionism; the subjective research paradigm. (4) The development ofthe methodology of the humanistic psychology. So far, the humanisticpsychology has developed four kinds of methodologies: the hermeneuticpsychological methodology, the phenomenological . psychologicalmethodology, the existential psychological methodology and theintegrated psychological methodology.
