Cultural Examination Of Chinese Sense Of Taste Words

As a special kind of the vocabulary system, Chinese sense of taste words has written down people's right experience of the sense of taste in its unique way. The paper chased and followed two relevant clues: one is to build up the whole structure of the sense of taste words, classify and analyze them diachronically in the macroscopic and microcosmic way, explore its development orbit from concrete to abstract and explain the motivation of its change; the other is to examine the unique culture of Chinese nationality through Chinese sense of taste words. Therefore, the paper defined and classified the sense of taste words at first, then set the range of discussion, and built up the whole appearance of Chinese sense of taste words in terms of macroscopic. Then I chose some typical sense of taste words to analyze and study diachronically.
