This thesis studies viewpoint on woman of Inzannashi, a famous contemporary writer. It is no doubt that the study on Inzannashi has made great achievements, but it should not be denied that the study on his viewpoint on woman, especially systematic study, is still lacking. Based on the fruitful achievements in the study of Inzannashi, the thesis is intended to make a systematic study of his viewpoint on woman. The thesis consists of six parts: an introduction, chapter â… -â…£ and a conclusion. To be exact, they are: Introduction: an overview of the study on Inzannashi's viewpoint on woman and the present issues; the research goal of the thesis and the methods to be used. Chapter I: a comparative study on the images of women in The Romance of the Qing Dynasty and the images of the traditional Mongolian women. Chapter II: a comparative study on the images of women in A One-storeyed Building and Weeping in a Read Pavilion and the images of women in A Dream of the Red Chamber by Cao Xueqin. Chapter III: a tentative analysis of Inzannashi's viewpoint on woman. Chapter IV: the relationship between the formation of Inzannashi's viewpoint on woman and his family background and personal experience. Conclusion: a summary of the author's basic viewpoints and the issues to be solved in the future research. The author's opinion is that The Romance of Qing Dynasty both inherited and developed the images of Mongolian women; although A One-storeyed Building and Weeping in a Read Pavilion are also influenced by A Dream of the Red Chamber, they both have new breakthroughs. It is not difficult for us to see from the images Inzannashi's works and his personal elaboration that although his viewpoint on woman is still bound with feudal ideology to a certain extent, the leading idea is the criticism of the control of women by feudal ideology, the confirmation of women's social position and their roles, the sympathy for women's miserable sufferings and the support for women's efforts in striving for equality with men and the independence of marriage.
