The Classical Court Music in the ancient China is a kind of special artistic shape, because it is not only a musicology category, but also exists by subordinated to an important part under the Rite and Music ideological system of the Confucianism. The Classical Court Music in aesthetic meaning reach its development summit in Xizhou Dynasty, move towards on the decline gradually in the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods. From Qin Han to Sui and Tang dynasties, the folk music and the foreign lands music culture cause the strong impact to the traditional court music in Central. So the Classical Court Music is gradually substituted by the development of the folk music in the court, and the Comment Court Music reach the unprecedented peak in Tang Dynasty. However after the Last Reign of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, because of special era background, the Classical Court music in ancient times becoming feeble and die and is emphasized by the ruler in Northern Song Dynasty again, Make Chinese ancient palace music culture present the situation that taking the Classical Court Music as the domination and making the folk music subsidiary. According to historical long river, this kind of phenomenon is abnormal. So the writer is in terms of historical science of culture , and analyse why the renaissance of the Classical Court Music in Northern Song Dynasty appear under the background, why pay so much attention to the Classical Court Music on the monarch and his subjects in Northern Song Dynasty, which kind of social functions it have. Pass these, the historical phenomenon of the renaissance of the Classical Court Music in Northern Song Dynasty is explained according with the history. This text divides seven parts to explain separately.
