Studying On Leibniz's Understanding To Confucianism And Christianity Theology

Leibniz is the modern Germany guide of philosophy and one of modern western thinkers who paid close attention to and concentrated on the Chinese culture and were fruitful .He stood in the height of world culture coming to examine the Chinese and western culture closely and structured the Chinese and Western culture view through the comparative research in language ,words,concept and category etc. .According to abundant thought materials the Jesuit offered, Leibniz found a new moral and material world and conducted rather thorough research in Chinese culture .He draw nutrition from the Chinese culture and produced the abundant inspiration to melt his philosophy thought ,mathematics thought ,logic thought and character thought for an organic whole .He found Chinese peculiar "Practice philosophy" that politics combined with ethics and as general "The book of Changes" of illustration of characters in things comparison of culture Symbolic language system and explained the concepts ,such as "Li,"Qi","Taiji" and "Tian" etc. with his "Monadology". Also he advocated that mankind learned from Chinese culture and the mutual complementary of eastern and western culture to realize the world ideal of "Pacifism", i.e. to fulfill the unification of religions and written languages in order to form one full of more ethical ,good ,harmonious world order. This thesis focuses on three aspects. The first is the character in common use and his understanding to the Chinese Characters. The second is the affirmation of Ghosts and God's in Confucius's philosophy and praise of moral culture in Chinese culture .The third is the essential comparative analysis of concepts "Li" ,"Qi","Taiji" in Neo-confucianism. I will come to investigate and analyze the exactness of its understanding Chinese philosophy and weak point ,focus on proving that he enriched the savoring of inside information to the Chinese culture ,his inspiration that "the whole world integration" to today without the brand-new culture psychology of any prejudice.
