Many grammarians have been paying more attention to the target of distinguishing indirect object from adverbial. Up to now, however, there is no explicit method to solve this problem completely.From the point of Mongolian language information processing (MLIP), the research of distinguishing indirect object from adverbial is also the basic work of all concerned study fields. Aiming at the practical requirements of MLIP, this essay states the conditions of compound noun used as indirect object and adverbial. The structure and the basic content of this article is as follows:The introduction part gives the reasons for singling out this topic, and describes the general concerned study situation, the way of dealing with this problem, reference material source, and the tag set.The first chapter is about the fundamental theory of the case grammar, and analyses the relation between case grammar and indirect object and adverbial.The second chapter, from three aspects, analyses and lists the conditions of indirect object of compound nouns.The third chapter, from three aspects, also analyses and lists the conditions of adverbial of compound nouns.In conclusion part, sums up the content of this essay and make a plan to accomplish the sequel work.
