The Structure Function On Some Narrative Chapter Of Space

In recent years, how to express space concept and the elements and characteristics of it are studied by Chinese linguists . they study these questions from three parts : words and phrases and sentences. This paper based on those study achievements on space just studies the effect to the narrative text of space . In the narrative text which is structured by space, writer will use some forms to show the change and development of the text structure. So if readers find those special forms and deduce properly, he will grasp the whole structure of the text.This paper has three important parts: the first part, with the view of cognition, it analyzes the characteristics and forms of the space where things have happened, and it studies the main happening space decided by the main sequence of the development of the things in the text, and it is the connection of those main happening space that show the structure system, the second part, it explains the concept of space conversion ,and it discusses the signs and the ways of the space conversion .the third part, it concludes the function of space to the structure of the narrative text, and analyzes some kinds of the structure of the narrative text.This paper just does some attempting study on Chinese space expression with the view of the text structure, which can show how Chinese master and use space by language.
