Moving Calligraph Art

Based on the artistic features of Chinese calligraphy and Arabic calligraphy art, this paper mainly explores the two aspects of" calligraphy " as a unique abstract art form-the external shapeand the internal spirit , including the movement laws and calligraphy action of dot and line and the momentum expression artisticconception , and the spirit of " Yi Shu Jian Dao " . Through the case study of some typical Western abstract expressionists , it also discusses common points shared by Western abstract expressionist ' s paintings and calligraphy art, and the borrowing of the latter by the former in abstractness. Besides, this paper reflects calligraphy's impacts on modern vision art , and its realistic value and meaning , probing into the reference value of calligraphy in the pluralistic modern art , thus illustrates the value and broad future of calligraphy in a modern sense as a particular art resource.
